Job description

• Make customers happy with performant Padel racquets
• Development responsibility for Padel racquets up to series production -Sparring partner of pre-development from a technical point of view, e.g. providing Padel-insights, participating in combined creative sessions
• Close communication with production partners in Asia and material suppliers
• Support in testing of Padel racquets -Research on Padel topics e.g. speed, deformation, etc.
• Go-to person for detailed technical questions on Padel racquets and support of the Proplayer team for e.g. questions concerning racquet choice

Requirements

• Technical degree like mechanical engineering, material science, plastics engineering or sport science and ideally experience in the sports industry
• Padel passion with an interest in dealing with product features/details and an idea of playing Padel
• Creative mindset to figure out what adjustments would help to improve a Padel racquet when playing it
• Experienced with MS Office, especially Excel; CAD, Matlab- and FEM knowledge are an advantage
• Business fluent English and good Spanish language skills, German is an advantage
• Team player who likes discussions with experts, can provide relevant explanations/arguments and can attract people for a topic
• Willingness to travel on a case-by-case basis
