Job description

For our Innovation Team based in Klaus (Vorarlberg, Austria) we are currently looking for a Product Security Specialist, 50-100% (f/m/x) What's it all about?

  • Together with a team of specialists you are responsible for the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC), the Product Security Risk Management (PSRM), and the Vulnerability -
  • Handling and Disclosure (VHD) workflows at OMICRON.
  • You support cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with the controls of the SSDLC.
  • You guide the development teams during threat modelling and risk assessment.
  • You organize and offer training sessions about SSDLC basics and secure development topics.
  • You continuously improve the existing SSDLC to meet relevant requirements.
  • You manage product security incidents.
  • You ensure compliance with relevant policies, laws, standards, and market requirements.
  • You support the sales team in answering customer inquiries regarding cybersecurity topics.
  • You contribute to company-wide information security.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • You are passionate about product security.
  • You have effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • You have experience in software development.
  • You are familiar with security concepts, principles, and best practices to avoid potential threats.
  • You have fun with threat modelling and risk assessment.
  • You are not afraid of information security standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001 and IEC 62443).
  • You have a mindset of continuous learning and proactively improve your security knowledge.
  • You have a good command of English.
