Job description

What is the InnoLab Project 2024 about?

Technicians and Engineers in the power grid area face challenges in collecting test and asset data in power grid substations. The OMICRON InnoLab Challenge 2024 aims to create customer value by leveraging modern technologies, like generative AI to efficiently collect, digitize, and organize data related to testing jobs.

Participating in the InnoLab program provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, enhance in-demand skills, develop and test your own product ideas, expand your professional network, and leverage company assets to create new opportunities.

What's it all about?

  • You will work with the challenge team in a SCRUM process on concepts to digitize data from the power grid.
  • You will provide the software developers context about the power grid to realize meaningful applications.
  • You will validate software prototypes for proper functionality.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • You are enthusiastic about electrical power grids and the world of OMICRON customers.
  • You are currently completing your studies in electrical engineering of power grids.
  • You have a general interest in software and generative artificial intelligence.
  • You enjoy communicating in German and English.
  • You appreciate a broad range of topics and are motivated to familiarise yourself with various topics.
