Job description

• Work on various platforms with a preference for the Xilinx platforms using PetaLinux
• Handle platform boot-up and start-up sequences
• Develop and maintain code related to interconnections between platform modules
• Work with DMA, I2C, USB protocols and their specific uses on the Xilinx platforms, write and maintain scripts using Python
• Utilise git for version control and manage CI/CD pipelines, develop software using C and/or C++

Requirements

• A University or University of Applied Sciences degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years of professional experience or comparable education/professional experience
• Proven experience as an embedded software engineer, good aptitude for problem solving and logical reasoning
• Proficiency with Xilinx platforms and PetaLinux, strong understanding of platform boot-up and start-up sequences
• In-depth knowledge of DMA, I2 C, and USB protocols, experience in scripting languages like Python
• Familiarity with version control systems like git and CI/CD processes, strong programming skills in C and/or C++
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment, experience with development tools such as Vivado, Vitis, and Visual Studio
• High proficiency in English, German is a plus
