De­scrip­tion

The Heron Group is a fam­ily-run, glob­ally ac­tive com­pany, founded in 1987 and based in the heart of Eu­rope: Dorn­birn - in the mid­dle of the Aus­trian part of the bor­der tri­an­gle at Lake Con­stance. The par­ent com­pany Heron In­no­va­tions Fac­tory today serves as a ser­vice provider in the areas of fi­nance, human re­sources and prod­uct de­vel­op­ment for the four sub­sidiaries op­er­at­ing in the in­dus­trial and tech­nol­ogy sec­tor. The Heron Group has its ori­gins in the de­vel­op­ment and con­struc­tion of cus­tomised as­sem­bly ma­chines. Over the years, this has grown into four in­de­pen­dently op­er­at­ing sub­sidiaries: Heron CNC-Tech­nik GmbH, Ro­bo­t­u­nits GmbH, Servus In­tral­o­gis­tics GmbH, SAFEDI Dis­tance Con­trol GmbH.

>/STRONG>In ad­di­tion to the high tech­ni­cal de­mands placed on the prod­ucts, the Heron Group pays par­tic­u­lar at­ten­tion to the de­vel­op­ment of its em­ploy­ees and the pro­mo­tion of their per­son­al­ity. The Heron Group recog­nised very early on that only those em­ploy­ees who are pre­pared to change them­selves can ini­ti­ate or allow changes. For this rea­son, it is par­tic­u­larly im­por­tant to the com­pany that the de­vel­op­ment of its em­ploy­ees is sup­ported with highly in­ter­est­ing and often un­con­ven­tional de­vel­op­ment tools.
