Job description

  • Ownership and active lead of technical relationship with assigned Customers
  • Single Point of Contact for our customers regarding technical questions
  • Strong support of Sales in acquiring new business
  • Preparation of optimized Technical proposals for Sales/Customer
  • Workout and agree with customer global guidelines and standards
  • Contribution to Innovation Management and Business Development by sharing Trends and Consumer insights from Key Customers
  • Preparation and Lead of Customer Innovation Events
  • Handover of projects to Product Development (C2)
  • Ensure highest level of technical integrity of sold projects
  • Global overview of customer projects
  • Represent the ALPLA HQ in high level tech meetings with the customer
  • Regular communication with ALPLA Technical Centers, Product Development Center and functional interfaces
  • Trouble shooting contact and escalation path for all regions for the customer

Requirements

  • Completed technical education in combination with experience in plastics
  • Solid experience in leading packaging developments, preferable in rigid plastic packaging
  • Preferable already experience as Technical Key Account Manager
  • High Sales affinity combined with entrepreneurial thinking
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and co-ordination skills, self-organizing skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • High grade of flexibility and stress resistance
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, French would be an advantage
